Alison brings a wealth of experience in financial services to her role as an Annuity Consultant. Her career began in customer-facing positions, including as a mortgage adviser for a leading building society, before progressing into the private medical insurance sector. Over time, Alison moved into training roles, equipping others with the skills needed to support customers - but she soon realised her true passion lay in having regular direct contact with customers. 

“I get huge job satisfaction from helping people make informed decisions about their finances,” Alison explains. “That’s what drew me back to a customer-facing role, and ultimately led me to join the Annuity Guidance Team here at Retirement Line.”

Alison first heard about the company through word of mouth and was encouraged by the glowing feedback. “Since joining, I’ve found everything people said was true,” she says. “It’s such a supportive and friendly environment, where everyone helps each other and there’s a real team spirit. The atmosphere makes it a genuinely lovely place to work.”

Outside of the office, Alison enjoys an active family life. She loves spending quality time with her son on bike rides and long dog walks. A passionate cook, Alison also enjoys entertaining family and friends with her flair for fine dining and creating a la carte meals for dinner parties.
