Job position: Annuity Consultant

David's role at Retirement Line is the latest chapter in his extensive career in financial services, where he has spent much of his working life providing information and guidance to help people choose insurance and retirement income products. Now a valued member of our Annuity Guidance Team, David thrives on the variety his work offers, noting that no two conversations with customers are ever the same.

“It’s all about helping people,” he explains when describing a typical workday. “Even if a customer already has a good understanding of how annuities work, we take the time to explain everything they need to know about the different products and options. I especially get satisfaction from understanding what someone wants to achieve from their pension savings and showing them how an annuity might help them achieve that, if it’s an appropriate solution.”

In his free time, David enjoys being with his family. He is also deeply committed to supporting those affected by motor neurone disease (MND). His involvement ranges from spending quality time with them to providing one-on-one support for various activities that enhance their wellbeing.
