Denise originally joined the company as an administrator, where her exceptional people skills quickly stood out. Recognising her talent, she was encouraged to transition to a role in our Annuity Guidance Team, where for many years she has been helping customers understand their retirement income options.

She says: “People often have questions or misconceptions about annuities and other retirement income options. It’s always rewarding to help them gain a clearer understanding of what they can do with their pension fund. I really enjoy talking to our customers and I get a great sense of satisfaction from helping them achieve outcomes they are happy with.”

One of Retirement Line’s longest-serving employees, Denise greatly appreciates the culture here. “It’s a family firm with a supportive and encouraging atmosphere,” she says. “The owners and managers want everyone to do well, and they are also very accommodating of people’s personal issues. It’s just a fabulous place to work.”

Denise often surprises customers when she mentions that her passion for the past year or two is motorcycling. Having passed her test and treated herself to a shiny red Ducati Monster 821, Denise loves hitting the road throughout the UK, with European trips in her sight.
