Ed is a valued member of Retirement Line’s Annuity Guidance Team. Before joining us, he built his career in various customer-focused roles, including working at a popular Norfolk hotel that’s a favourite among retirees. Reflecting on his career path, he says: “I enjoyed working with people in later life, and with a strong aptitude for numbers and an interest in finance, joining Retirement Line felt like the perfect next step.”

He finds great satisfaction in helping people understand their retirement income options. “Many of the people I speak with have struggled to find clear guidance elsewhere," he says. “It’s therefore especially rewarding to help them with such an important matter.”

Ed is very appreciative of Retirement Line’s commitment to providing a highly personal service to customers. He also values the company’s supportive workplace culture: “As a family-owned firm, they genuinely care for employees and recognise individual needs and circumstances. They go above and beyond to help out where they can, such as being supportive of my preference for hybrid working as I live in Norwich.”

Outside of work, Ed’s passion is film. A fan of directors like Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan, he doesn’t just watch movies—he holds a degree in film production and enjoys working on his own film projects. Ed is also an avid sports enthusiast, cheering on Norwich City from the stands at Carrow Road, and regularly playing tennis and badminton.
