Joshua Lawson

Job position: Annuity Specialist

Joshua is a dedicated member of Retirement Line’s Annuity Guidance Team, where he helps customers to navigate options for turning their pension savings into income. This represents his second major career phase, following a number of years in customer-facing roles in the automotive sector. Joshua says that he is “loving it” at Retirement Line, enjoying working for a family business “that genuinely cares for its employees”. 

As with his previous role, the thing that most excites Joshua about his work is talking to people and helping them make an important decision. He says: “It’s great knowing that I have helped people come to an informed choice about their retirement income options. It’s also rewarding when people come back to me when they have another pension pot to turn into income, or when they recommend me to family or friends.” 

When he’s not working, Joshua’s great passion is skiing and he takes every opportunity he can to hit the slopes. His favourite location is the highest ski resort in Europe: Val Thorens in the French Alps.
