Mark Ormston

Job position: Director of Propositions and Corporate Partnerships

Mark has been working within the pension and pension income profession for over a decade and holds the title of Director of Propositions and Corporate Partnerships at Retirement Line.

He holds various roles across the pensions landscape including Chair of PASA’s Industry Policy Committee and Chair of NextGen’s Research & Insights Committee. He is also a member of the PMI’s Advisory Council and holds EPMI status. In recent years, he has spoken and presented at numerous events and regularly provides commentary and data for multiple media outlets.

Mark is also a featured author for the Financial Times Adviser website and in November 2023 he was the winner of Professional Pensions 'Rising Star of the Year' award.

Away from pensions, Mark was elected as a Parish Councillor in the May 2022 local elections and has since been elected as Chairman of the Council. In May 2024 he was elected as a City Councillor on Peterborough City Council and has since been appointed to positions including Vice-Chair of the Growth, Resources and Communities Scrutiny Committee.
