William held several roles at Retirement Line before becoming a key member of our Annuity Guidance Team, where every day he helps customers to better understand their retirement income options. With a degree in Economics from the University of Sheffield, William combines his passion for finance with a genuine interest in learning about each person’s unique circumstances and goals.

Will is especially known for his personable, approachable nature, combined with a knack for making complex financial concepts easy to understand. He says: “I appreciate that many people aren’t naturally comfortable or confident when dealing with their finances. That’s why I want to help them feel at ease and fully informed about what they can do with their hard-earned pension savings.”

Beyond the office, Will is very much a sports enthusiast. As well as enjoying watching a cricket or rugby match, he loves being active and outdoors – whether that’s playing football and badminton with friends, or cycling through the rolling Rutland countryside. He also enjoys taking in the county’s stunning views while walking his boxer dog. Music is another important part of his life: he often attends gigs, where you might spot him playing air guitar to his favourite classic rock anthems.
