We will send an M&S voucher if we cannot either match or improve an alternative annuity rate that a client has been able to find elsewhere. This is subject to the following:

• Applicable to money purchase benefits only, excluding those with a guaranteed annuity rate, guaranteed minimum pension or underpinned by any form of defined benefit.
• Minimum fund size £30,000 after tax-free cash.
• The alternative annuity rate must be in the form of a guaranteed, underwritten annuity quote, of which, evidence must be provided by sending a copy of the providers actual quote either by post, fax or by email in the form of a scanned or electronic copy.
• The alternative annuity rate must be based on exactly the same annuity options.
• A copy of all medical/lifestyle information must be provided to confirm quotations are on a “like for like” basis.
• Retirement Line must be given an opportunity to beat the alternative annuity rate at the point of claim.
• The higher annuity quotation must be less than 5 days old.
• The Best Quote Guarantee cannot be used in addition to any similar guarantees from other related parties.
