Annuity specialist Retirement Line to contribute to the latest Parliamentary Review

Retirement Line is proud to have been invited to feature in the 2018/19 Parliamentary Review. This is an annual series of publications run by cross party politicians featuring articles from organisations and individuals who are experts and have become outstanding leaders in their fields.

Our article, written by David Slater, Retirement Line’s Chief Executive Officer, explains how we have responded to challenges within our industry. It explores the current state of retirement income provision following the pension freedoms implemented in April 2015, drawing on the latest statistics from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

David’s article also shares his belief that facing a decision about what to do with their pension savings can be a most confusing and stressful experience for many people. Accordingly, they need treating with care, empathy and patience, as well as being given comprehensive information about their options.

Publication of the Parliamentary Review is scheduled for spring 2019. Total readership is upward of 500,000 policymakers, including MPs, Peers at the House of Lords, chief executives, vice presidents, relevant clubs and associations, film and TV executives, and many more.

As well as contributing to the Parliamentary Review, Retirement Line is also invited to attend a celebratory gala event at the House of Commons, meeting with senior politicians and representatives from other leading UK businesses.
